One of 16 semi-finalists in the Startup Showdown at Xponential

Iridium Dynamics will be pitching as one of 16 semi-finalists at the world’s largest drone and unmanned-systems exposition, Xponential. From 4-7 May, the Exhibition Centre in Dallas, Texas will have over 650 unmanned-systems exhibitors, and over 7000 attendees. An ‘expert panel of judges from top investment firms’ has selected Iridium Dynamics as one of the 16 most innovative start-up businesses in the industry. We’ll be competing to reach the final three and pitch publicly at the event, and hopefully take home the grand prize of US$15,000.

Come and visit booth 3430-P to see our Halo platform! If you can’t make the event, tune in to twitter to stay up-to-date.

The Advance Queensland HotDesQ program has granted Iridium Dynamics $75k

Along with a $75k grant, HotDesQ provides us with working space in QUT Bluebox, the accelerator at one of Australia’s top technical universities. Moving to Queensland is a great opportunity to interact with the nearby agriculture and resources industries. Collaborating with researchers at QUT will accelerate our development, and broaden the capabilities of our UAVs. We’ll be based in Brisbane from January 2017!

Iridium Dynamics moves into the SAN:IT accelerator at The University of Sydney

Iridium Dynamics is moving on from the ATPi co-working space, to a private office and lab at The University of Sydney. It will be great to be ‘back home’, and we look forward to working in alongside other great start-ups from the university.
